The second highest plateau is located in between the Himalaya and Karakoram mountains of Pakistan. You can acceded either sides from Gilgit or Skardu and via Astore Valley in one long day, it is 284 km from the starting point from Karakorum High Way to Skardu. It is not long distance but takes longer time because its natural beauty attracts you to stop for longer and enjoy it. It is recommended to keep two days for this enchanting valley to visit here.
