 Holidays in Hindukush Pakistan
Planning a trip to Pakistan is not easy as there is little upto date, accurate information especially if you are a slightly unconventional traveller who wants to see and do as much as possible.  Luckily someone referred us to Hindukush Karakoram Tours and Treks.  From the start we received prompt replies and invaluable advice.  Their knowledge is extremely extensive, accurate and varied; the sort of knowledge that only local people with a real pride and love of their country, can have. Amin was able to help us narrow down our travel plans and include visits to places that we did not know about and which were exactly what we wanted.  I feel that there was nothing that Amin could have organised for us covering a very wide spectrum of interests: spectacular scenery; thrilling trekking; genuine experience of all levels of pakistani life; receiving hospitality from people in the valleys and up in the mountains (and even at the First Aid Post!); eating unexpectedly different local food in hotels, restaurants, bazaars and street food; watching artisans and craftspeople at work and having a taste of Pakistan’s significant archaeologial heritage.  Nothing was too much trouble, even when we changed our minds or wanted to alter our itinerary. Once he had met us, Amin quickly understood our particular approach to life and travelling and was able to adapt to our needs and interests.  His advice was always well considered, appropriate and pertinent.  Any slight inconvenience thrown up by circumstances beyond control was dealt with with calm humour. I am a fairly experienced traveller and on this occasion I felt that we travelled with friends rather than with guides and organisers. Every aspect of my trip eceeded my expectations.  I can’t say more than that I know who I will contact when I return to the area!
