The tourism potential in the Gilgit-Baltistan is no secret. The beautiful landscape and the unique cultural heritage give the Gilgit-Baltistan  a competitive advantage in attracting tourists. So our question is not how to identify the tourism potential, but rather to consider how tourism can help conserve this unique natural and cultural heritage while also contributing to desired improvements in the quality of life in the Gilgit-Baltistan . These are the general goals, as we see them, of ecotourism. In order to understand how ecotourism might help to achieve this potential, we need to understand just what is ecotourism

Day 02 – Drive over Babusar Pass 4100m or via KKH to Chilas 12 to 14 hrs. Hotel
Day 03 – Drive to Rama meadows of Astore 4 to 5 hrs, afternoon explore around. Hotel
Day 04 -Drive to Deosai plains 5 to 6 hrs, afternoon explore around. Camp
Day 05 -Drive to Shigar Fort about 5 hrs, afternoon explore the Shigar village.Hotel
Day 06 – Drive to Gilgit 7 hrs. Hotel
Day 07 – Drive to Chatorkhand Ishkomen 3 hrs. afternoon explore around evening entertainment with local traditional sitar music. Guest house or home stay
Day 08 – Drive to Qurumbar Glacier to see the remote part of upper Ishkomen 3 hrs.Homestay in Immit
Day 09 – Drive to Yasin Valley 4 to 5 hrs. after noon explore around. If it is a polo season we can arrange a polo match with local musical band for group. Guest house or Homestay
Day 10 – Drive up to Last village Darkot 2 hrs. By evening return to Thous or Yasin .Guesthouse or Homestay
Day 11 – Drive to Phander valley the land of lakes and Paradise of trout’s. Hotel or home stay
Day 12 – Drive to Chilas 7 to 8 hrs. Hotel
Day 13 – Drive over Babusar pass or via KKH to Islamabad. Guesthouse or Hotel
Day 14 – Transfer to the airport for destination

Day 05 – Morning visit Neglected Gujar Community of Asumbar and afternoon drive to Immit village. Guesthouse or Homestay

Day 06 – Morning visit the remote community and few schools of upper Immit  Bilhanz,Badswat,Borth and Matramdan. Evening return to Chatorkhand. Guesthouse or Homestay

Day 07 – Drive to Gupis 3 hrs.On the way visit some communities in hoper,Jondoli and Hakis .Hotel or Guesthouse

Day 08 – Visit of upper Phander valley 4 to 5 hrs drive. Meet different communities on the way. Hotel, home stay or camping

Day 09 – Drive to Yasin valley on the way meet communities. Hotel or guesthouse

Filming And Documentary Tours

HK Tours and Treks got experienced staff who worked with filming and documentary programmes like the world famous snow leopard Markhor hunting in Chitral Gol KPK(Planet the earth) and filming on ancient chines travellers of 7th century AD over Darkot pass to Yasin and documentaries on Kalash tribes etc. We can make flexible itineraries according to interest of clients, either it is to the south or Mountainous region of Pakistan.

Day 16 – Drive upper Ishkomen Kurumbar Glacier return to Emit village overnight stay in Guest House.
Day 17- Drive to Yassin shooting around for full day overnight stay in Homestay/Guesthouse
Day 18- Drive to Darkot the historical gateway to Wakhan (central Asian countries) from where the Tibetans entered to the Yassin valley in the 8th century. Drive back to Yasin for overnight stay
Day 19- Drive to Phander Valley along the beautiful villages of Yasin, Gupis and Phander. Above all the crystal clear Phander River full trout is great attraction for the film makers enjoy and shoot the scenic valley the Land of Lakes is the nick-name of valley has amazing scenery.
Day 20-Drive to Chitral over Shandur Pass to Laspur, Mastuj, Bonni and many other beautiful villages along the way adds to the joy of travellers to enjoy their shooting, overnight stay in Hotel Chitral
Day 21- Drive to Kalash Valleys to shoot the unique culture of the valleys which is the only place in Pakistan with different culture, drive back to Chitral in the after-noon overnight stay in hotel
Day 22- Fly/ Drive over Lawari Pass /Tunnel to Islamabad overnight stay in hotel
Day 23- Fly home with full of joys.

Botanic Tours

HK TOURS AND TREKS can arrange botanical trips to see plants, either in natural environment.This is in general up to the traveler, but should be picked appropriately for the region visited. Historical Forts Trips in Gilgit-Baltistan & Chitral

This is a special historical and culture trip where you can visit most forts in Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral regions. Amid those some are still in reasonably good condition whilst others are ruined but we will still visit some forts. In some places we will be able to stay in private forts. Two forts in Skardu region have been converted into hotels and offer luxury stays, whilst some forts offer basic facilities and in some we can camp. In this trip you will be able to see different forts some built by local rulers and some built during the reign of the British Raj, descendants reside in some forts today too where you may be fortunate to have a chat. On this trip you go through Deosai Plain 4100m over Shandur Pass 3734m and Lawari Pass 3118m and visit the unique Kalash tribe of Chitral. Some evenings will be rich in entertainment …
